Mike Fields
Chairman of the Board
Mr. Fields became Chairman of the Board in July 2010. Mr. Fields is involved with several businesses and has held many executive and operating roles throughout his career. From 2004 until its sale to Stericycle, Inc. in December 2009, Mr. Fields was President and COO of MedServe, Inc (Enserv LLC), the second largest medical waste service provider in the nation. Prior to forming Enserv, Mr. Fields served in various operational, M&A, and administrative positions with Coach USA, Inc., a $1 billion NYSE traded transportation company, American Residential Services, Inc., a $450 million publically traded provider of residential mechanical services (plumbing, heating, and air conditioning), Browning Ferris Industries (BFI), a $6 billion NYSE traded environmental services company, and Gulf Supply Company, an oil field products and service company providing valve repairs and new valve sales. Mr. Fields holds a BBA in Marketing and Economics from Lamar University.
Jim Reilly
President & Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Reilly joined Great Western Valve in July 2010. From 2000 to 2010, Mr. Reilly worked at SalvageSale, Inc. an online auction marketplace servicing insurance and corporate customers with the disposition of commercial assets. Mr. Reilly last served as President & COO and was instrumental in launching the business in 2000 and growing it to its current levels where it services over $100MM/year in gross transactions. In 2007, the company sold to private equity and has since renamed itself AssetNation. Prior to SalvageSale, Mr. Reilly held various sales, technical, and operational positions at Philip Services Corporation (PSC) a $1+ billion industrial services company supporting refining, petrochemical, pipeline, and other industrial companies. Earlier in his career, Mr. Reilly managed and rapidly grew an environmental drilling company from $1MM a year in revenue to over $17MM. Prior to this, he was a geologist and core analyst in oil & gas exploration and production. Mr. Reilly earned a BS in Geology from Texas Tech University.
Jim Hazelwood
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Hazelwood joined Great Western Valve in September 2009 as a financial consultant and became CFO in July 2010. From 2004 until 2009, Mr. Hazlewood was a co-founder of MedServe, Inc. (Enserv LLC), the second largest medical waste services provider with some $40 million in annual revenue. While at MedServe, Mr. Hazlewood served as CFO and VP, M&A. The company sold to strategic investors in December of 2009. Prior to MedServe, Mr. Hazlewood was CFO of Reddy Ice Inc., a NASDAQ traded manufacturer and distributor of ice products. Earlier in his career, Mr. Hazlewood held various banking roles in Houston and initially started his career in financial services at Arthur Anderson & Co in Houston. Mr. Hazlewood earned a BBA in Accounting from The University of Texas at Austin and is a CPA.
Mike Kouloumoundras
Vice President Operations
Mr. Kouloumoundras joined Great Western Valve in July 2007 and worked in the instrumentation shop. He steadily progressed through all operating areas and became VP, Operations in 2010. In this capacity, Mr. Kouloumoundras oversees all the production operations of the company and manages the Control Valve Division. Prior to joining the company, he worked in the IT industry as a network administrator and earned several Microsoft certifications including MCSE, MCSA and MCP.
Michael Bailey
Vice President Sales & Account Manager
Mr. Bailey joined Great Western Valve in December 2013. Prior to joining the team, Mr. Bailey was a senior manager of an air scrubbing and degassing services company assisting refineries and E&P entities with their environmental air quality needs. Prior, he was Area Sales Manager at Philip Services (PSC), formerly Allwaste, where he was responsible for over $20MM in industrial services for greater-Houston area refinery, petrochemical, and industrial customers. Early in his career, he was a special projects auditor at the Texas Comptroller’s Office – Oil and Gas Division and also held positions in purchasing, operations, management, and sales at Sooner Pipe & Supply, Baker Tanks, and HydroChem. Mr. Bailey earned a BBA in Accounting and his Masters in Finance from the University of Houston. Mr. Bailey has worked with customer’s day to day maintenance and operations teams, their turnaround planners, engineering and project teams throuhhout his career and will be a valuable resource to all Great Western Valve's customers.
